I think the Speaker meant Viet Nam for Agent Orange, Not Desert Storm. A great Deal of Agent Orange was used in Viet Nam to defoliate the Jungle in various areas. A form of Agent Orange is used in the San Joaquin Valley (Bakersfeld), where I lived for a number of Years, to harvest the Cotton Crop. The majority of Residents get sick with a bad cough and/or asthma like conditions during this defoliation of the cotton plants. The almond tree get sprayed by some type of defoliation chemical so when the tree shakers harvest the almonds they fall from the Trees easily. A hazard of living in an Ag Community.
